Meet Your
Photographer

Hi, I’m Corey and I’ll be your photographer. Here’s a little about me and if you want to know more, all you have to do is ask.

I Started My Photography…

I officially started my photography journey in February 2016 when I attended an educational photo session hosted by a professional photographer. Unofficially, it’s in my blood as my father is an avid collector of antique cameras and his parents were successful wedding photographers.

My Favorite Genres…

My favorite genre of photography falls into what most would call “Creative Portraits” (though I sometimes call it “dress up for adults”). It allows my client and I to embrace our imagination and devise a session that is totally unique to them.

My Personality…

This is a hard one as it depends on when you catch me. I like to joke that I’m a true Gemini where one of my personalities is fun and outgoing and the other is serious and analytical. With clients though, I’m always doing my best to give you the fun side of me!

My Taste in Music…

My taste in music is mostly 80’s with some synth pop, “storyteller” folk, and even a little Bulgarian Folk Music thrown in for some flavor. These days I’m listening to a lot of Kimbra and Inna but earlier in life I was big into Pet Shop Boys and Jim Croce.

Is Photography Your Only Job?

Right now photography is a “side gig” that I’m working to turn into my main source of income. For the moment though, most of my income comes from working in IT.

What Do You Do For Fun?

I love exploring! When both time and money allow it, I love to go abroad and experience cultures different from my own. So far I’ve been to Czechia, Austria, Romania and Scotland. I love a good travel story and you won’t have to ask twice to hear some of mine.

What Inspires You Creatively?

If I’m working on a personal project I will pull inspiration from anything and everything with music and dance being the most frequent. Photography started as a creative outlet for me so personal projects usually have some deeper meaning if you take the time to find it.

What Do You Love?

I love seeing the huge grin on my clients face when they get their photos back from the print shop. I’m always looking to uplift people and help them see themselves as unique individuals worthy of everything good.
